Aabadi Mountain Camp

    <p> To reach Aabadi Mountain Camp, travel on the C35 from Khorixas and turn south onto the D1216 road. Drive for approximately 60km and look for the sign on the left. </p> <h3> <p> Accommodation: </p> </h3> <p> Accommodation at Aabadi Mountain Camp comprises five safari tents, as well as a campsite with a maximum of 12 campers per site. There is a small restaurant, a sundowner terrace with a spectacular view and a small (souvenir) shop. </p> <p> The safari tents are built against the mountains and overlook the riverbed of the camp. Each tent has its own parking spot and lies at quite a distance from the neighbouring tents. The restaurant is within walking distance. Breakfast is included, but you are also more than welcome for lunch and dinner, or just a drink! </p> <p> The campsite is spacious and lies at the riverbed. There are an abundance of trees, so there is always shadow and privacy. There is a boiler heated bush shower and a flush toilet. The restaurant is within walking distance from the campsite. Here you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner or just a drink. Each campsite has its own <em>braai</em> (barbeque), so it is also possible to prepare your own meal. Be sure to bring enough food as there is no supermarket in the area! There is no electricity at the camp sites! </p> <p> While at Aabadi Mountain Camp various excursions are on offer. Prices vary and advance booking on arrival is advisable. Combinations of the different excursions are possible, e.g. a walking safari with a romantic picnic afterwards. There is something for everybody, whether you like to walk and be active, or you just want to sit back and enjoy. </p> <p> A guided walk from the campsite is offered. The main attraction is Twyfelfontein World Heritage Site (22km away). </p>
